Yung Truth (Tha Big Face Fiend) was born and raised in Missouri City (Mo.City), TX where his love for music was discovered and polished. Truth has been rapping since he was about 16 but he was not introduced to the mixtape circuit until two years after that.

While at school in Prairie View he hooked up with Super Dave and Slo’ Mo’d tha Clique (SLO’ MO’D) and the rest is pretty much history.  He did a few mixtapes with the Slo’ Mo’d including College Dropoutz, Heatwave Vol.2, and Two Thousand Slow before migrating back to Houston. Truth later linked up with A.Hughes and the H-Dubb camp and it has been a great collaboration every since.

Yung Truth has been on several mixtapes throughout his career. These projects include: Vinyl (The Network Mixtape Volumes 1-3), www.headwreckas.com (Graduated & Gotta Get It All-Star Edition), Unkut (Slow Boogie Vol. 1), Texas Boyz Mixtapes (Volumes 1 & 2), as well as being featured on one of the Council’s mixtapes.

To his credit as well, Truth has three original projects (Opposite Executives, Truly Getting’ Dough, & Balla Talk) under his belt. Currently Truth is in the studio working on his fourth original project as well as a couple of promotional mixtapes.

In the midst of his busy schedule he also finds time to run his very own entertainment company called True Entertainment. Needless to say, to be considered an up and coming artist he is very accomplished.
