Doughbeezy was born in Cleveland, OH and moved to the Southeast side of Houston, TX at the age of 13.

Shortly after arriving in Houston, Dough grew an interest in making music and began freestyling and writing rhymes in a spiral notebook. In 2003 he hooked up with close friend and local rapper/producer/engineer Lil Yung and recorded his first track (a diss song). With time, the buzz about Doughbeezy on the Southeast began to grow fast and the streets came up with the name “Tha South East Beast”

Since that time Dough has moved to Missouri City, located on the Southwest side of Houston,TX and has been consistently working at his craft by recording music, spitting verses on YouTube, performing at talent showcases and networking with other musicians.

Dough is currently working on his first full length album entitled “No Money, No Conversation” and plans to have it released by the Summer of 2011.
